Three wooden sculptures represent aspects of bene pharmaChem. The artistic ideas reflect the idea that: the whole splits - fragments emerg  - they rejoin and a holistic whole is created.
The whole is the tree trunk, which after degradation and modification a new substance with a healing force emerges.

Sculptures

Circle
This represents the whole and is made from wedge-shaped pieces of beech. The open circle reflects the logo of bene pharmaChem which casts a shadow on the wall behind. It is located above the water area outside the building.
Segment
This has been dissected from the circle and is located outside by the Conference Room.

Bowl
This has been created from many pieces of beech, hewn externally and honed internally. Glue, chalk and metal form a stable, close layer, symbolizing a healthy body. The blue background reflects the association between the  water outside and the human bladder.
The copper shows aspects of connection and conduction. The warm colours of the metal capture light and enhance the roundness of the bowl and the beech and copper form a polar entity.
